Equal Earth Wall Map (Political)

Equal Earth Wall Map – True-Scale World Map | Political Equal Earth Projection

Updated: September 2026

Our Equal Earth wall map shows the world as it really is, with every country and continent in true proportion to the others. On 4 September 2026 the UN General Assembly voted 164 to 1 to adopt the “Correct the Map” resolution, which encourages governments, schools and organisations to use the Equal Earth projection wherever the size of places matters. This is the political edition, with clear borders, capitals and more than 2,600 place names.

The Equal Earth Wall Map (Political Version) presents a beautifully designed, equal-area projection map that accurately reflects the relative sizes of countries and continents. Traditionally, distorted projections like Mercator have diminished the visual scale of Africa and other regions, leading to skewed perceptions of influence and importance over centuries. The Equal Earth projection restores visual integrity, showing, for example, that Africa is nearly 14 times larger than Greenland, as reality dictates.

Crafted with over 2,600 place‑name labels, this map provides essential geographic context while maintaining clarity and elegance. Many size options in high resolution, it’s perfect for printing in large formats, making it a compelling addition to classrooms, libraries, offices, or home study space.

The Equal Earth Wall Map is printed on high-quality matte, non-reflective paper, available in multiple durable sizes with free UK shipping and printed-on-demand convenience.

Ideal for those who believe in data-driven design, educational integrity, and the power of visual truth.
